This 3-hectare site, 15 km from Orléans in the Cornay horticultural area, houses a 2,000 m² trial glasshouse together with many polytunnels and growing beds for shrub production.
The site also serves as the logistics hub for all our shipments. At peak times we can dispatch up to 90 pallets a week and more than 1,500 pallets a year.
This 4-hectare site is entirely devoted to propagating our young plants. Built in 2012 and covering 13,500 m², this new unit allows us to produce more than 3 million 104-cell plugs every year. We also produce over 300,000 40-cell and 28-cell plugs for small pot sizes (2 to 3 litres). 90% of our young plant production comes from our own propagation unit and our own stock plants.
The site has a collection basin for irrigation and rainwater, which is treated naturally by phytoremediation, limiting the discharge of pollutants into the public sewer system.
On this 3.5-hectare site we grow small and medium batches of shrubs together with our range of native plants and reforestation trees and shrubs. The latter are grown in specialist containers (0.9 L air-pruning pots) to guarantee optimal establishment whatever the species (Quercus, Fagus, Carpinus, Larix, Pinus, Cedrus, Metasequoia, etc.).
The site also includes our new 2-hectare stock-plant area, planted entirely through ground cover fabric (to limit weed growth) and drip-irrigated (to keep water consumption as low as possible).
This 9-hectare site is devoted to large-batch production of shrubs and conifers in liner pots and pots, such as Viburnum, Photinia, Elaeagnus, Juniperus and Chamaecyparis.
We also grow a very wide range of grasses and perennials here, such as Carex, Stipa, Miscanthus, Imperata, Gunnera, Musa, Liriope, Phormium and Ophiopogon.
Lastly, the site is home to a 2-hectare stock-plant area that allows us to guarantee our customers consistency in the varieties produced each year.
