To guarantee the quality and trueness of the varieties we propagate, 85% of our production comes from our own stock plants, which cover more than 2 hectares. The traceability of our young plants therefore begins here, since the location and the pruning date of the stock plants are shown on the delivery notes for the cuttings.
The cuttings are then transplanted under a fog system® into PaperPot plugs, ensuring optimal rooting.
Since 2002, 95% of our production has been mechanised (from filling the trays through to watering and mulching), with full traceability of all inputs (growing medium, fertiliser, origin of the cuttings, etc.) to guarantee uniform, consistent products year after year.
The plant health of our three production sites is monitored by the CDHRC of the Centre region, which gives effective support to our site managers so that we can react quickly in the event of disease or any other growing problem.
Alongside this, for the past two years we have used IPM (integrated pest management) as an alternative to certain chemical treatments: beneficial insects, refuge hedges, insect-friendly hedges, "Bug Scan" monitoring traps, and so on.
